Coffee & Crafts Sunday - Amigurumi bees for the World Bee Day

[Deutsche Version unten]
So the last Coffee & Crafts Sunday was a while ago already, but I wanted to show you what we were doing: crochet bees! Aren’t they adorable? But even better: They’re for the World Bee Day on May 20th. Friends of the Earth Germany is having a campaign called “A place to be(e)” to raise awareness of the bees dying and demand immediate action from our government.
For this, they are calling people to crochet little amigurumi bees. Well, they didn’t have to ask me twice! So Sanna and I sat down two Sundays ago and bust my stash (of course it’s not a huge stash buster, but anyway). We found some leftovers of yellow cotton yarn that is just perfect bee colour.

Spring flashback - The Lionberry Shawl(ette)

[Deutsche Version unten][unbeauftragte Werbung wegen Markennennung]
This one is a super flashback: The Lionberry shawl(ette).
The pattern is by Narniel of Endor (free on Ravelry) and even though I am not huge a fan of yellows, I liked it immediately.
I knitted it about two years ago (might be three even), but never took photos of it.

The first fine days of the year were a great opportunity to catch up on this, enjoying the sun, Banh Mi and a nice Ginger lemonade.

Dieschor-Nobby

[See the English version below][unbeauftragte Werbung, da Markennennung]
